Our recent trip to St. John has me itching for our next trip so I decided to try to put a little more time into our vacation to Scotland in a few months. We’ll be flying into London and then onto Glasgow, driving around Scotland for a week, and then returning to London from Edinburgh for a day to see a few sites and visit a long time friend for the day. When planning an itinerary, I always struggle to find the right balance between planning enough so we’re not floundering on what to do, but not planning too much so that there is some flexibility should we learn about exciting things that we didn’t know about prior to traveling.
Given my excitement level, I’ve decided to post our itinerary here in case anyone is interested… It’s pretty time consuming to put together an itinerary but it’s one of my favorite parts of travel. If anyone has any questions or suggestions on their own upcoming adventures, I’d be happy to help!
